The Student Enterprise Team

Our Nu Stone Tradie retail notebooks have been gathering interest with students across the UK, with many on campus stores now stocking the range. This month, one of our unique books was the focus of a Kent University Student Enterprise competition, an initiative designed to enhance students’ skills and abilities whilst providing them with additional core skills required by a fast-paced employment market.

This year the Student Enterprise Team launched its brand new ‘Elevator Pitch’ competition. An elevator pitch is a short summary used to quickly and simply define a person, profession, product, service, organization or event and its value proposition. Students were asked to send in 60 second video pitches selling business ideas or on their passions and hobbies, and one student chose to centre his pitch on our books made out of Nu Stone!

Sergey Ovchinni and Dmytro Lysak both 1st year Computer Science students and Oludare Ebenezer Adeyemi, a 1st year Computer Systems Engineering student won second prize for their fast paced and informative video, available to view below.
